Kennedy is 8-2 against Van Nuys since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Kennedy Cougars will square off against the Van Nuys Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Van Nuys better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Kennedy really get things going. Everything went Kennedy's way against Canoga Park on Friday as Kennedy made off with a 4-1 win. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit Canoga Park with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Liliana Magallanes, Emily Diaz, Krystina Martinez, and Hailey Acevedo.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Van Nuys' offense. They fell just short of San Fernando by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Wolves have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 9-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Van Nuys, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2.

Kennedy beat Van Nuys 3-1 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
