Truman Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Council Rock South Golden Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Harry S. Truman is hoping to put an end to a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Harry S. Truman suffered a tough 42-21 defeat at the hands of Bensalem. Harry S. Truman has struggled against Bensalem recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Harry S. Truman saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Erynn Bond, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. Bond scored a full 47.6% of Harry S. Truman's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Shylah McCleve was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Council Rock South might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Upper Dublin an easy 50-28 victory. While losing is never fun, Council Rock South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Upper Dublin is ranked 27th).
Harry S. Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Council Rock South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Harry S. Truman was taken down by Council Rock South 71-23 in their previous meeting back in February. Can Harry S. Truman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
