Softball Recap: Weleetka Takes a Loss

New Lima hit Weleetka with a six-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Outlaws took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Outlaws of the 14-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Weleetka and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for New Lima, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Weleetka will head out on the road to challenge Crowder at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Lima, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Haileyville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
