Softball Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for Citizens Christian Academy

Citizens Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Terrell Academy on Tuesday, but Terrell Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Eagles. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly eight runs.

Brilynn Waldron was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Emma Gourley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Citizens Christian Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games.
