Recap: St. Lucy's Regents vs. Etiwanda Eagles        
        
		
            
 The St. Lucy's Regents's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Etiwanda 85-8. St. Lucy's was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  60-6.
  Stella Yegge was St. Lucy's leading scorer, having posted four points.  
 Kira Carroll held things down on the boards with four rebounds. 
 St. Lucy's has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost seven of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Etiwanda, their win was  their 15th straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-3.
 St. Lucy's won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Workman at 5:30  p.m.  on January 19th. Workman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the  team is of course eager to reverse. Etiwanda won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Rancho Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on January 19th. Rancho Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
