Volleyball Preview: Reagan Rattlers vs. Clark Cougars
The Reagan Rattlers are taking a road trip to square off against the Clark Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Last Friday, Reagan made easy work of Churchill and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rattlers.
Reagan's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Churchill between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.
Meanwhile, Clark waltzed into their match on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Rough Riders.
While Clark might've won, it sure wasn't easy: SA Roosevelt scored at least 16 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-8.
Liz Salinas and Joanna Guerrero were among the main playmakers for Clark as the former had three digs and two aces and the latter had 11 digs. Guerrero is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last eight games she's played.
Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. As for Clark, they pushed their record up to 21-13 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
