Palo Alto has gone 8-0 against Cupertino recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Palo Alto Vikings will challenge the Cupertino Pioneers at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Palo Alto came up short against Wilcox and fell 53-46. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cupertino posted their closest victory since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 win over Gunn. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pioneers have posted against the Titans since May 8, 2021.

Cupertino is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Palo Alto, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Palo Alto didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cupertino in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win. Will Palo Alto repeat their success, or does Cupertino have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
