Basketball Recap: Marlborough Takes a Loss

After flying high against Notre Dame (SO) last Friday, Marlborough came back down to earth. The Marlborough Mustangs took a 69-51 bruising from the Chaminade Eagles on Monday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 71-68.

Marlborough's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Chaminade, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Marlborough won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Harvard-Westlake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaminade, they will challenge Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
