Soccer Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Victorious

Sherman Oaks CES pushed their score to eight the last time they played East Valley, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Sherman Oaks CES Knights never let the East Valley Falcons onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Sherman Oaks CES now has a winning record of 3-2. As for East Valley, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-1.

Sherman Oaks CES will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. After both having extra time off, East Valley and Vaughn will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 2:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025. East Valley's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Vaughn's offense will have their work cut out for them.
