Soccer Recap: McEachern Takes a Loss

McEachern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Osborne Cardinals, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that McEachern have lost by exactly seven goals.

McEachern's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Osborne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

McEachern will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. McEachern will be up against Tri-Cities' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.27 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Osborne, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Fairhope on the 8th.
