            Manzano hasn't had much luck against Sandia recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Monarchs will welcome the Matadors  at 6:00  p.m.
Manzano came into their game  on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  Santa Fe, falling  3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Monarchs have suffered  since November 8, 2024.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19,  25-19.
Meanwhile, Sandia had to endure  a  seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Capital with a sharp  3-0 victory on Thursday. The  match marked the Matadors' most dominant  win of the  season.
 While Sandia might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Capital scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21,  25-18.
 Sandia's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Manzano, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
