Canyon Crest Academy lost against Steele Canyon on December 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Canyon Crest Academy Ravens fell just short of the Steele Canyon Cougars by a score of 54-51. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon Crest Academy's record is now 8-8. As for Steele Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Canyon Crest Academy and Steele Canyon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Canyon Crest Academy (ranked 553rd) will meet Torrey Pines (ranked 39th) at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Similarly, Steele Canyon will take on Mountain Ridge at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday down 455 places (561 vs. 106).
