Waterloo waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Jersey Panthers by a score of 4-1. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Caden Castello looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Waylon Glaenzer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Conrad Lindhorst, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Waterloo's record is now 16-6. As for Jersey, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.

Waterloo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
