Johnston entered their tilt with Alburnett on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pirates a 4-0 shutout. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Johnston's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Alburnett, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 22-8 record.
