The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Athens Academy earned an 11-6 win over Oglethorpe County on Friday.

Banks County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Athens Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Banks County suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to Athens Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Banks County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
