            Softball Recap: Mead Mavericks vs. The Classical Academy Titans        
        
		
        
        
            Mead had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against The Classical Academy Titans by a score of  11-7.

 The team  relied heavily on  Rosie Robuck, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Halie Gippe, who  went 1-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Mead now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for The Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mead will challenge Broomfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so the Mavericks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for The Classical Academy, they will square off against Sierra at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Stallions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.25  runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
