Soccer Game Preview: Sheldon vs. Pleasant Grove

Sheldon hasn't had much luck against Pleasant Grove recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Sheldon Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pleasant Grove Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Sheldon turned things around against Elk Grove on Monday. They and the Thundering Herd finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Shawnjai Barron-Hutchings and Ahliana Tran scored both of Sheldon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Franklin on Friday and fell 2-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-2. Sheldon's draw makes their record 3-10-3 this season.
