Soccer Game Preview: Model vs. Darlington

The Model Blue Devils will challenge the Darlington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Model took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Trion, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Model never let Trion get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Model.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Darlington made sure to put some goals up on the board against Haralson County on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 10-1 win. That looming 10-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Darlington yet this season.

Darlington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Model, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
