Softball Recap: Windsor Academy Has No Trouble Against Flint River Academy

Windsor Academy won the last time they faced Flint River Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Kyndall Bowen was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rayne Wesson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

The win got Windsor Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Flint River Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Academy will take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flint River Academy, they will challenge Southland Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
