Baseball Recap: Oaks Christian Comes Up Short

Oaks Christian and Cypress squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Oaks Christian had to settle for second. They lost 8-2 to the Centurions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since March 30th.

Carson Sheffer made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Oaks Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Cypress, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 22-8.

As of now, neither Oaks Christian nor the Centurions have any future games scheduled.
