Basketball Recap: Rochester Finds Playoff Glory Versus Riverview

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rochester had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 57-53 victory over the Riverview Raiders.

When it comes to explaining why Riverview lost, don't look at Isabel Chaparro. Despite the final result, she went 10-for-20 on her way to 25 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Chaparro a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lily Bauer, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Rochester's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Riverview, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Rochester has already played their next matchup (against Aliquippa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
