Soccer Recap: Southeast Whitfield County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cedartown typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Southeast Whitfield County proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Bulldogs 6-1. Southeast Whitfield County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Jonathan 'Jona' Hernandez and Joseph Pina scored all six of Southeast Whitfield County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

The win (which was Southeast Whitfield County's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for Cedartown, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedartown will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Mt. Zion will have lost seven straight heading into Tuesday's game.
