Central had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Alexander Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Cougars back in September, they had to take a 4-1 loss.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Alexander, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-4.

As of now, neither Central nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
