Volleyball Recap: Leo Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leo can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garrett Railroaders on Tuesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railroaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Garrett found their leader in freshman Kaylee Gaar, who had 20 digs and three assists.

Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Garrett, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Leo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garrett, they will head out on the road to take on Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
