If Wooster wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played South Tahoe, they should've done a better job of containing Campbell Mathews. The South Tahoe Vikings blew past the Wooster Colts 42-21 on Wednesday thanks in part to Mathews, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 boards. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Cox, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.
South Tahoe has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Wooster, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
South Tahoe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-23 win against Sparks on the 17th. Wooster has also already played their next contest, a 54-27 defeat against North Valleys on the 17th.
