Baseball Recap: Chattahoochee Cougars vs. Johns Creek Gladiators
Chattahoochee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johns Creek Gladiators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-3 loss last Wednesday.
Chattahoochee got a good showing from Gavin Johns, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Johns has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Chattahoochee saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zyairre Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
