Softball Recap: Nebraska City Starts Season with Win Against Falls City

Nebraska City took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They never let the Falls City Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Looking ahead, Nebraska City will take on Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in a tournament on Saturday. As for Falls City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilber-Clatonia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
