Baseball Recap: Western Dubuque Comes Up Short

Western Dubuque lost to Xavier on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Lancers, falling 12-6. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Western Dubuque now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Xavier, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Dubuque will host Dubuque Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Xavier, they will face off against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
