Roxborough extends road winning streak to five

The Roxborough Wolves entered their tilt with the Martin Luther King Cougars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Roxborough took down Martin Luther King 46-31 on Monday. Given Roxborough's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Martin Luther King is ranked 553rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Jaylah Holmes, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Siaharr Simmons was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three blocks.

Roxborough pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Martin Luther King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Roxborough will be playing in front of their home fans against Philadelphia Electric Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
