Soccer Recap: Everett Alvarez's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Everett Alvarez's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers out 4-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Rancho San Juan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Destiny Lopez (2), Jennifer Montes, and Angie Zamora.

With the victory, Everett Alvarez broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for Rancho San Juan, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2.

As for Rancho San Juan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Watsonville at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
