While Granada didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Acalanes Dons with a sharp 74-53 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Matadors, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Granada's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Acalanes, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.

Granada will take on Fremont in a holiday battle at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Acalanes, they will head out to take on Benicia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
