Baseball Recap: Reed-Custer Comets vs. Coal City Coalers
Reed-Custer extended their losing streak to 11 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 5-21. They lost 18-0 to the Coal City Coalers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coalers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Monday.
Reed-Custer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dhane Debelak, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
As for Coal City, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The result was nothing new for the Coalers, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
