Soccer Game Preview: San Jose vs. Overfelt

San Jose hasn't had much luck against Overfelt recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The San Jose Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Overfelt Royals at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

San Jose is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of James Lick.

Meanwhile, Overfelt managed to keep up with Hill until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Overfelt lost 3-0 to Hill. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Overfelt, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

San Jose came out on top in a nail-biter against Overfelt when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Jose since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
