Logan faced New Mexico School for the Deaf in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Longhorns took their matchup with ease, bagging a 64-12 victory over the Roadrunners. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won six games by 50 points or more so far this season.

Logan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aydin Kotara and Marshall Ortega. Logan received some extra help from Rylan Montoya, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

When it comes to explaining why New Mexico School for the Deaf lost, don't look at Santiago Lopez. Despite the final result, he picked up 80 receiving yards, and also rushed for 50 yards. Zion Holmes got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

The win was the sixth in a row for Logan, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Logan will challenge Floyd at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Longhorns will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
