Soccer Recap: Benicia Comes Up Short

Benicia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the McClatchy Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three goals.

Benicia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for McClatchy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Benicia didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Antelope on the 14th. As for McClatchy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Francis on the 14th.
