Soccer Recap: Corona del Mar Takes a Loss

Corona del Mar fought the good fight in their overtime game against Huntington Beach on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Huntington Beach Oilers by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Sea Kings in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now lost three in a row.

Corona del Mar's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Huntington Beach, they pushed their record up to 12-3-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Corona del Mar will venture away from home to challenge Edison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntington Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
