Football Recap: Kent Island Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Cambridge-South Dorchester last Friday, Kent Island came back down to earth. The Buccaneers took a 14-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middletown Knights on Friday. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Kent Island's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Middletown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Kent Island is taking a road trip to face off against Easton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Buccaneers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Middletown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
