Softball Recap: Chatfield Comes Up Short

Chatfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers, falling 17-4.

Chatfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Leech, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Another was Annabelle Beikmann, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Chatfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Raymore-Peculiar, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Chatfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-0 loss against Stillwater on the 29th. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they are taking a road trip to face off against Kearney at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
