Sun Valley Community won the last time they faced Castleford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cutthroats secured a 58-52 W over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cutthroats.

Leading Sun Valley Community to victory were Liam Ammons and Johnny Boccabella. Ammons dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards, while Boccabella dropped a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marley Shapiro, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 boards.

Castleford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Riggin Keetch, who posted 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Ramos, who had eight points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.

Sun Valley Community's record now sits at 3-1. As for Castleford, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
