Recap: Richland Rams vs. Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles
The Richland Rams waltzed into their matchup Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bald Eagle Area 63-33 at home. The result was nothing new for Richland, who have now won four matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.
Lanie Marshall continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Garnett, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Richland's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Bald Eagle Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Greater Johnstown at 7:15 p.m. on January 10th. Bald Eagle Area will take on Penns Valley Area at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
