Sherwood Christian Academy came into Thursday's game having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Fullington Academy Trojans 6-4. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 14-4 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Micah Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Josiah Kimsey was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win got Sherwood Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Fullington Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
