Football Recap: Bemidji Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bemidji can now relate to. They were dealt a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Alexandria Cardinals on Friday. The game marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bemidji dropped their record down to 5-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Alexandria, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Bemidji does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexandria, they will square off against Spring Lake Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
