Recap: Valley Center Jaguars vs. Vista Panthers
The Valley Center Jaguars lost against the Vista Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Valley Center fell 35-25 to Vista. Valley Center has struggled against Vista recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Valley Center's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmin Velazquez, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Valley Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Vista, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Valley Center will head out on the road to face off against El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vista, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against San Dieguito Academy at 7:00 p.m.
