McDonough made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Woodland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warhawks blew past the Wolfpack 6-2 on Tuesday. Considering McDonough have won five games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Woodland with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaylen Smith (3), Ndamake Kassim Diarra, Rickido Thomas, and Cesar Olvera.

McDonough's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Woodland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

McDonough and Woodland are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warhawks will head out to face off against Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodland, they will head out on the road to challenge Clarkston at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarkston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Woodland surely won't give up without a fight.
