Baseball Recap: Benjamin Logan's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Benjamin Logan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Northwestern Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 12-1 victory back in April.

The result came thanks to Jacob Hawley's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Benjamin Logan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Allen, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave Allen a new career-high. Carter Fay was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Benjamin Logan's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Northwestern, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-15.
