Soccer Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

The matchup between Jackson and Paideia on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Jackson Jaguars took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paideia Pythons. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Pythons when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jackson hit Paideia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fred Wallace, Walker Townsend, and Sawyer Cent.

Jackson's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Paideia, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Jackson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Shiloh on the 7th. As for Paideia, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Mount Paran Christian on the 6th.
