Softball Recap: Capitol Hill Comes Up Short

Capitol Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Heights Jets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redwolves of the 18-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Capitol Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Western Heights, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

Capitol Hill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-3 win against Putnam City North on the 22nd. As for Western Heights, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-1 loss against Noble on the 22nd.
