Soccer Game Preview: Upper Lake vs. Roseland Collegiate Prep

Upper Lake is on an eight-game streak of home losses, and Roseland Collegiate Prep a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Upper Lake Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roseland Collegiate Prep Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Upper Lake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Willits, who was ranked 13th at the time (Upper Lake was ranked 21st). The Cougars came up short against the Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Upper Lake struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Roseland Collegiate Prep managed to keep up with Credo until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Grizzlies lost 5-2 to the Gryphon.

Roseland Collegiate Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-2. As for Upper Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Upper Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Roseland Collegiate Prep when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
