Softball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 13-9 to the Lake Mills Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in June.

North Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lake Mills, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat North Iowa by a score of 14-9 later that day.
