Soccer Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Beats Tucker for Their Third Straight Victory

St. Pius X Catholic proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by four) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Tucker Tigers 2-1. Given St. Pius X Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Tucker are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was St. Pius X Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Tucker, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
